Alvis serves nearly 8,000 men, women, young adults and children in Ohio each year. Our programs indirectly impact tens of thousands more. We work to keep families together and make communities safer and generate the 180 Degree Impact that changes lives.
Our Family and Children's Program works to heal families affected by a parent's involvement in the criminal justice system.
Our Reentry Services include cognitive behavioral treatment, chemical dependency treatment, workforce development, case management, mentoring, housing assistance, and links to community services and support.
Our Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities help clients live more independently and participate as fully as possible in their communities.
Our CHAT Program rebuilds the lives of women involved in human trafficking, by offering safe, sober housing and clinical treatment for substance abuse, mental and physical health issues, and trauma.
Our GED Program serves as the first step toward attending college or technical skills training and helping clients achieve financial stability.
Our Workforce Development Program provides job readiness training, skills training, job placement assistance, mentoring, and job retention support.
Our Social Enterprises provide job skills training and work experience for individuals with limited or no work history. Transitions provides high-quality commercial cleaning services, while Nature's Touch Landscaping and Lawn Care offers residential and commercial landscaping and lawn care services. Social Enterprises also provide revenue to support Alvis services to individuals and families.
